Shield Final beckons as Mágh Cuilinn win in Ahascragh

Our Minors go from strength to strength with a resounding victory (4-16) against Ahascragh Fohenagh (0-8) and now advance to the final next Saturday against Michael Cusacks in Ballindereen ref Pascal Sheehan. A stirring display that augurs well for 2016 witnessed Anraoi Whyte scoring all the goals with Sean Barrett, Ryan Fox and Joseph Lydon assisting in producing a great haul of points. At midfield Daire Davoren pulled the strings while in the backs Caleb McGuinness ran the show. As all subs took to the field Michael Bohan was called on in goals and was not found wanting with a string of top class saves. Having played in Ahascragh the local team will be glad to see the back of 2015 and the green & white jerseys of Maigh Cuilinn. For the Minors it's another final next weekend to look forward to - support wanted!
