McCann’s Centra and Moycullen to host Hurling Club Day

Sunday 21st July 2013 (12midday-4.30pm)

 

To celebrate Centra’s sponsorship of the GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship, McCann’s Centra has joined forces with Moycullen Hurling Club to host a ‘Brighten up Your Community’ family day at the club next Sunday 21st July at Baile Doite pitch, Moycullen.


 

12.00 – 12.20pm         REGISTRATION in the clubhouse

 

          N.B. Parents must register each child (age 5-14) before commencing the skills

 

12.30 -   2.30pm          SKILLS SESSIONS

 

 

Followed by a FREE BBQ and a host of entertainment, including face painting, music,

prizes and much more.

 

3.30 – 4.15pm              Pagett Cup (under 12)

 

4.00 – 4.45pm              George Walsh Cup (under 14)

 

Please don’t forget to bring hurl!


As the day is promised to very warm, please bring SUNCREAM, LIQUIDS and any SHADING EQUIPMENT for the family e.g. small tents, umbrellas, hats, etc.

U6s are directed to Astro Pitch where Colm Gavin will have a programme set out to commence at 12.30pm

& end at 2pm to allow them time to go on Bouncing Castle, BBQ, etc

 

 

 

U8s start at Pitch1 - SKILL1 & 2, THEN ONTO 3 & 4 and then move onto PITCH2 for skills 5-8

 

U10s start at Pitch1 - SKILL3 & 4, THEN ONTO 1 & 2 and then onto PITCH2 for skills5-8

 

U12s start at Pitch2 - SKILL 5 & 6, 7 & 8 and then onto PITCH1 for skills 1-4

 

 

U14s start at Pitch2 - SKILL 7 & 8, 5 & 6 and then onto Pitch1 for skills 1-4
